Business Development Manager, IT Managed Services Sales.

South Wales or Southwest based. M4/M5 Corridor. Company has offices near both Cardiff and Bristol. Hybrid - Home based + Anchor Days.

To suit candidate based near Cardiff, Newport, Bridgend, Swansea, Bristol, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Somerset, or Devon.

40,000-50,000 per annum Basic + Car Allowance + Bens + Solid Commission plan.

Well established and growing IT Managed Services Company with strong industry accreditation and partner status is looking for two experienced hybrid BDM/AM IT Sales professional to join an established team. You will have a background in IT Solutions or Managed Services Sales, working on a win and keep model.

Required skills and experience:

Minimum 2 years' experience in IT Managed Services or IT Solutions Sales.

Experience of selling Modern Microsoft, Storage, DR, Networking, Help Desk Contracts, Security (AV/Estate Hygiene), Cloud Solutions, Professional Services days and ideally some VoIP / Telco solutions.

Current product stack includes HP, MS, Sophos, Datto, Gamma, Cyber Essentials + and more. Various Gold and Platinum certifications.

Company has just hired more technical staff, so you know you will have the delivery, and they are 100% ready for the next big sales push!

The Role:

Must be able to manage product/service mix, pricing and margins.

Maintain and develop new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.

Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems.

Respond to and follow up sales enquiries.

Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.

Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.

Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings to aid sales development.

To suit excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator.
