We are recruiting an Operations Manager to work within a rapidly expanding Engineering business in the Bridgend area.

We are looking for an ambitious, motivated and methodical individual who must have management / supervisory experience ideally within the industry and sector, to ensure a smooth transition of skills into the new role. As the business has a global reach, it is imperative that the successful candidate has had similar experience. You will be accountable for leading an area of responsibility to achieve the performance of the business, ensuring operational effectiveness is maximized, ensuring KPIs are met, high technical standards are maintained, and quality standards are achieved, through the development of people, processes and systems.

We are looking for a candidate with prior experience at management level within engineering services; who can demonstrate an understanding of operating with integrity, of quality processes and systems and has high standards of compliance; financial understanding and business acumen; can maintain a strong focus on needs of the client and contractor with a strong understanding of the processes and procedures needed to be implemented to achieve these needs; knowledgeable and trained in people management practices; oversee compliance whilst demonstrating an understanding and awareness of HSE requirements.

All the support you could need is there for you but once familiar with the role you will of course operate autonomously. The current team is established and all the relevant systems are in place, however due to expansion into other areas of the business on a global basis, there will be specific projects which will need to be set up, led and supported.
