Job Title: Site Manager

Location: Bridgwater (initially, with potential variation across the region)

Salary: £45,000 - £54,000 per annum plus car/car allowance

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee operations on a variety of construction sites, starting with a project in Bridgwater. This role requires a highly organized and proactive individual with a strong background in site management and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain quality standards on-site.
Oversee construction activities to ensure they align with approved designs and specifications.
Monitor project progress, manage changes to the schedule, and address any issues by raising Technical Queries and Early Warnings.
Participate in design meetings and client meetings, including progress and commercial reviews.
Collaborate with the Commercial team to update cost forecasts and manage Compensation Events.
Ensure timely ordering of materials and assist Quantity Surveyors in managing sub-contractor packages.
Maintain accurate and thorough site records and documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar site management role.
NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management is desirable.
Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and quality control.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high standards of organization and detail.
