An Audit Senior required for the Accounting & Finance department within a professional services setting. The ideal candidate will be adept at overseeing the auditing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Description

  • Planning audit assignments, identifying key risks, assessing how to test them, assessing and reviewing the budgets through to completing an analytical review
  • Leading smaller audits, supervising, delegating, and reviewing work of trainees
  • Delivering information to clients in a timely manner whilst displaying in-depth client and industry knowledge
  • Identifying cross selling opportunities
  • Monitoring stock takes, managing bank letter processes where appropriate
  • Communicating to management on the progress of workload and planning for efficient completion

Profile

  • This role is suited for someone who has previous experience within corporate auditing or at least has audit experience and a strong interest in the sector. Working in a small team you will be heavily involved across multiple medium to large accounts from start to finish.
  • Ideally you will be ACA or ACCA, qualified with practice experience
  • Experience of Microsoft Word and Excel essential. Experience in Sage and/or CaseWare would be advantageous.
