Our client, a leading UK-based global business, is seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior management and make a key contribution to the company's continued success. You will be involved in all aspects of the Group's financial activities, playing a pivotal role in supporting the company's strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities of the Group Financial Accountant:
  • Prepare monthly Group summary information and report on Group performance.

  • Lead the compilation of budgets, forecasting, and other financial plans.

  • Control Group cash flow within defined parameters.

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated management information and covenant calculations for banking purposes.

  • Prepare the annual Group consolidated statutory accounts.

  • Plan, perform, and report on internal audit procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and policies.

Key Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA).

  • Strong technical background with group experience.

  • Advanced Excel skills and a good knowledge of financial systems.

  • Proven ability to influence decision-making with quality analysis and clear communication.

  • A hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively.
