What You’ll Be Doing

Join our team as a Biomedical Scientist in Histology and contribute to high-quality diagnostic services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing, embedding, and sectioning tissue samples for histological analysis

  • Using staining techniques and microscopy for tissue examination

  • Ensuring compliance with laboratory protocols and quality control measures

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care

  • Maintaining high standards in all laboratory procedures

  • Assisting with the preparation and analysis of samples as required

Requirements & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • HCPC Registration as a Biomedical Scientist

  • NHS experience in Histology

  • Experience with tissue processing, embedding, and sectioning

  • Knowledge of staining techniques and microscopy

  • Full-time availability (we are unable to provide sponsorship)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient laboratory services

Working Hours & Contract Duration

This role requires availability Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. The contract is running for 3 months initially, with the potential for renewal based on performance and service needs.
