I am seeking a passionate Laboratory Technician to join an analytical team in the Midlands, UK.

Role:

  • Receive, process and analyse samples to the highest ethical standards
  • Precise and efficient analysis using ICP, carbon, fire assay, XRF, and moisture techniques
  • Champion continuous improvement for the highest quality standards
  • Ensure lab operations excel in cleanliness, stock control, and organisation
  • Prepare powder by Fire Assay, Oxidising Fusion and classic wet chemistry techniques
  • Perform Laboratory equipment checks and routine maintenance
  • Maintain high level of cleanliness and organisation as required in a laboratory environment

Candidate:

  • Degree in Chemistry, material science/related
  • Experience using ICP and XRF
  • Strong attention to detail
