I am seeking a passionate Laboratory Technician to join an analytical team in the Midlands, UK.

Role:

Receive, process and analyse samples to the highest ethical standards
Precise and efficient analysis using ICP, carbon, fire assay, XRF, and moisture techniques
Champion continuous improvement for the highest quality standards
Ensure lab operations excel in cleanliness, stock control, and organisation
Prepare powder by Fire Assay, Oxidising Fusion and classic wet chemistry techniques
Perform Laboratory equipment checks and routine maintenance
Maintain high level of cleanliness and organisation as required in a laboratory environment

Candidate:

Degree in Chemistry, material science/related
Experience using ICP and XRF
Strong attention to detail
