TS Recruitment are actively working with a Dry Lining Contractor who are looking to add an additional Site Manager to their major project running until March 2026 with further work nationwide thereafter.

Benefits

  • £60k basic salary
  • Accommodation and travel expenses
  • 23 days paid holiday plus bank holidays
  • 7.30-4.30 site hours (some additional hours required at times)

Job Role & Responsibilities of the Site Manager:

  • No2 Site Manager on an £11 million dry wall and ceiling project reporting into a Project Manager
  • Work is on Hinkley point power station on offices and the power station
  • Manage direct labour and sub-contractors offering technical advice when needed.
  • Oversee quality control / snagging lists uploading information on field wire and field view
  • Providing regular site updates to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure health hand safety processes and procedures are followed and carry out site inductions and tool box talks.
  • Attend Site Management meetings updating main contractors.
  • Order materials and plant for site

Knowledge/Experience:

  • A strong technical knowledge on drywall and ceilings.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First aid qualifications
  • NVQ Level 6 in Site Management
  • Preferably a fixer by trade
  • Good IT skills and able to complete technical reports
  • A proven track record of delivering similar projects
  • DBS checks and site vetting process before commencement of employment
