Role objective:

Develop, control and lead initiatives across Health & Safety, Environment & Facilities across the site to ensure all stakeholders are aware of responsibilities and act accordingly

Identify hazards and complete risk assessments
Advise on improvements
Educate stakeholders within the group and create a positive Health & Safety culture
Oversee security, parking, cleaning and building works as part of the remit
Lead on sustainability and energy efficiencies
Analyse all costings related to insurance, amenities, waste etc to ensure best value

Essential criteria:

Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Able to work under pressure and make decisions that solve problems as they arise.
A higher-level qualification relating to OHS / EHS
Solid experience in managing the Health & Safety function within a manufacturing or similar environment
Good budgetary control experience
Continuous Improvement & lean techniques experience
