SF have been retained by a market leading, multi site automotive manufacturing business to source a commercially aware and leadership savvy Chief Financial Officer for their medium sized PE backed business. Working alongside a business' CEO and COO the CFO will not only be an exceptional accountant and hands-on with company finances but will also be commercially aware, advising on the best path of growth for the business. The role of the CFO has overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of company strategy and is expected to analyse figures and implement recommendations based on these findings, with the most profitable outcomes. Often managing and leading a team through difficult periods including month end, year end and annual budgeting, the CFO will have excellent communication skills with all levels of staff, often having to work with various departments to help them plan and manage their own budgets. The role includes, coordinating corporate finance and managing company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity and acquisitions as and if appropriate. Whilst there wouldn't be an immediate equity opportunity, there would be the chance to grow and sell this business in the fullness of time and be appropriately rewarded for this. You will be an FD / CFO from the manufacturing sector looking to further your career in a more challenging and dynamic environment.
