Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) EngineerShropshire basedMonday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) between the core hours of 08:00 and 18:00. Established and expanding businessGlobal reachExciting plans for the futureDesirable work environment Objective: Responsible for solving day-to-day problems and anticipating health and safety, quality and environmental hazards.You will support the business in maintaining & improving compliance to the QMS, ensuring products are to the correct standards, function effectively and meet the customer's expectations plus you will oversee Health & Safety processes and measures to minimise the frequency and risk of workplace incidents and injuriesDuties•Ensure that supplied parts meet necessary requirements•Providing quality assurance technical expertise to support manufacturing•Review and test of sample / first article parts•Inspecting parts/materials for defects as appropriate•Lead the resolution of quality related issues, identifying problems, participate in investigations, then collaborate to design and implement effective solutions. •Support the QHSE Manager to maintain occupational health and safety policy and governance arrangements•Support the QHSE Manager to maintain a health and safety management system that reflects legal and good practice standards•Conduct health and safety inspections and audits to monitor performance.
