Junior Acoustic Consultant

My client was established in 2004 and is a reputable UKAS accredited consultancy specialising in acoustic engineering and noise control solutions. They pride themselves on offering tailored services to address the unique acoustic challenges encountered by their clients. This encompasses a wide array of services including noise studies, acoustic design, and mitigation solutions. Their expertise extends across diverse sectors such as education, healthcare, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Science (BSc) or a Master of Science (MSc) in acoustic engineering or a related field, coupled with certification from the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
  • At least one year of practical experience in conducting sound and noise assessments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
  • Possession of a valid UK driver's licence.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with key stakeholders across different departments to ensure the timely delivery and successful completion of all project deadlines.
  • Compiling technical data from assessments and crafting comprehensive technical reports for clients.
  • Conducting surveys and assessments on noise and vibration utilising specialised modelling software.
  • Ensuring that all assessments and remedial advice adhere to and exceed British standards as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining effective communication and cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the project's lifecycle.
