About the Role:We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their dignity and independence are respected at all times. You will be responsible for overseeing and supporting care staff, assisting with daily living activities, administering medication, and maintaining accurate care records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of healthcare assistants, providing training and mentorship.

  • Administer medication as per the Medication Administration Record (MAR).

  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.

  • Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes in condition to senior staff.

  • Ensure that care plans are up-to-date and effectively implemented.

  • Build strong relationships with residents and their families, providing emotional support.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare assistant or similar role.

  • A minimum of Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification (Level 3 preferred).

  • Medication administration training and experience.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.

  • Compassionate and patient with excellent interpersonal skills.
