SF Recruitment have exclusively partnered with a local charity who are looking for a dynamic, experienced Director of People and Resources Salary: £52,000 per annum Excellent holiday allowance Flexible working Key Responsibilities: 1. Human Resources Leadership: o Develop and lead HR strategies to enhance talent acquisition, performance management, and employee retention. o Oversee employee relations, ensuring the charity's values and culture are upheld. o Design and implement compensation and benefits programs. o Manage diversity and inclusion initiatives to promote an equitable workplace. o Handle grievance and disciplinary procedures in compliance with legal frameworks. 2. Corporate Governance and Compliance: o Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, particularly from the Charity Commission and CQC. o Provide risk management insights and updates to the Board of Trustees. o Monitor and report on resource utilization and legal compliance. 3. IT and Resource Strategy: o Lead the creation and execution of an IT strategy aligned with the charity's mission. o Oversee the procurement and training of IT resources and ensure optimal use of technology. o Manage the maintenance and operational efficiency of the charity's premises and transport fleet. 4. Quality Assurance and Organisational Development: o Implement strategies that promote a culture of continuous improvement. o Align organisational processes and systems to support the charity's Vision, Mission, and Strategy. Ideal Candidate Profile: - Qualifications: o CIPD certification o Strong knowledge of charity sector challenges and corporate governance frameworks. - Skills and Experience: o Proven track record in senior leadership roles, particularly in HR or People and Culture domains. o Experience in strategy development and operational management within the charity or non-profit sector. o Expertise in legal and regulatory compliance for charities, including familiarity with the Charity Commission and CQC standards. o Ability to manage cross-functional teams and resources, including IT and premises. - Attributes: o Passionate and driven, with a commitment to the charity's mission. o Strong interpersonal skills, with a people-centered approach to leadership. o A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset. o Capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders, including Board members, employees, and external partners.
