The People Systems Analyst will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing the HRIS roadmap. The main focus of this role is the creation and maintenance of Business Objects reports, while also assisting the HRIS People Systems Manager as a Systems Administrator. This position ensures the efficient delivery of data analysis and insightful reports to support strategic decision-making by management teams.
The individual will collaborate with stakeholders to develop clear, actionable reports and ensure all outputs are well-documented. Data security standards, including GDPR and organisational policies, must be adhered to at all times. Additionally, the People Systems Analyst will assist in administering and optimising iTrent, ensuring system performance, managing user access, and maintaining data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Objects Reporting: Use the Business Objects tool to generate detailed and insightful reports that provide valuable HR management information.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, translating them into clear and effective report designs.
- Report Creation & Troubleshooting: Develop, test, and troubleshoot reports using a ticketing system, ensuring all reports are signed off and well-documented.
- Information Security Compliance: Ensure all data handling and reporting adheres to GDPR principles and company data security policies.
- Business Objects Platform Maintenance: Oversee user management on the Business Objects platform, ensuring data access complies with GDPR and business access protocols.
- HRIS Administration & Optimisation: Assist in managing and optimising the iTrent system, monitoring system performance, and running housekeeping routines.
- System Support: Act as the first point of contact for end-users seeking support with the HRIS, resolving queries and escalating complex issues to the People Systems Manager as needed.
- Access Management: Ensure system access is in line with business processes and GDPR regulations, and manage approvals from relevant stakeholders.
- Data Integrity: Monitor and resolve data discrepancies, proactively identifying potential issues to maintain data accuracy and reliability.
- End-User Support & Training: Provide guidance and best practices for core users to navigate and utilise the HRIS effectively.
- Documentation: Contribute to the creation and ongoing maintenance of comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and user guides for HRIS usage.
- Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement efforts, including system testing, the introduction of new features, and process enhancements.
- System Optimisation: Actively identify and implement improvements to system performance, user experience, and process efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience with SAP Business Objects or similar reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of HRIS systems (preferably iTrent).
- Knowledge of GDPR principles and data security practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and end-users.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
