Legal Counsel - 6 month FTC - possible permanent (after initial 6 months)
A leading, well known West Midlands employer with a number of diverse business units is looking to recruit a commercial legal counsel to join the small, nimble team.
The role is an initial 6 month contract so will suit those who are available at relatively short notice, however there is a very realistic possibility that the role will become permanent.
Reporting to the General Counsel, you will handle a range of in-house matters including:
- commercial contracts (IT, procurement, NDA's, marketing, supplier)
- Data Privacy and regulatory compliance
- IP portfolio management
- M&A and disposals
You will enjoy training stakeholders and building relationships and will also support and coach more junior members of the team.
The business is going through an exciting period of change and transformation with some interesting project being rolled out.
The HQ is West Midlands based (c.2-3 days per week) and the role is offered on an initial 6 month contract, however there is plenty of opportunity for the role to be come permanent very quickly.
Salary c.£70,000 plus benefits and an immediate start is ideal
