Key Responsibilities
- Organising partners’ diaries, including booking travel, scheduling meetings, and setting reminders
- Taking minutes during meetings
- Performing general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Acting as the first point of contact, handling calls, messages, and correspondence internally and externally
- Providing cover for team members during absences, holidays, and sick leave
- Liaising with staff, external suppliers, and clients to support queries
- Writing and preparing documents on behalf of the directors
- Acting as gatekeeper and point of contact for directors
- Administering legal papers for the board
- Transferring calls from reception to the relevant person
- Ensuring accurate billing and invoicing of clients
- Drafting agendas for meetings
Skills and Experience Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A can-do, proactive attitude
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
- Confidence in completing general office administration tasks
- Previous experience in a legal or professional services setting
- Ideally, experience in a legal or property-based environment
- Knowledge of legal practices and procedures
