Key Responsibilities

  • Organising partners’ diaries, including booking travel, scheduling meetings, and setting reminders
  • Taking minutes during meetings
  • Performing general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
  • Acting as the first point of contact, handling calls, messages, and correspondence internally and externally
  • Providing cover for team members during absences, holidays, and sick leave
  • Liaising with staff, external suppliers, and clients to support queries
  • Writing and preparing documents on behalf of the directors
  • Acting as gatekeeper and point of contact for directors
  • Administering legal papers for the board
  • Transferring calls from reception to the relevant person
  • Ensuring accurate billing and invoicing of clients
  • Drafting agendas for meetings

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A can-do, proactive attitude
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Confidence in completing general office administration tasks
  • Previous experience in a legal or professional services setting
  • Ideally, experience in a legal or property-based environment
  • Knowledge of legal practices and procedures
