This is an exciting opportunity to take on a newly created role for this well-known Logistics company. The organisation is at a key stage of their development and this role is critical to the successful delivery of major expansion plans over the next 18 months.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Taking ownership for the successful operation of a national multi-site Logistics network.
  • Establishing the right network design for the business and customer base in conjunction with other key stakeholders from across the organisation.
  • Implementing and onboarding new customers and building a culture of exceptional service delivery.
  • Leading and developing a wider management team and setting a compelling future vision.
  • Ensuring a culture that prioritises Health and Safety across the organisation.
  • Managing the divisonal P&L in line with agreed budgets and profit objectives.
  • Taking a lead role in managing and developing both existing and new customer relationships.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Prior experience in a senior role within a multi-site, shared user logistics operation.
  • Proven change management and start-up experience ideally within a business experiencing significant growth.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and support your team.
  • Strong customer facing, business development and account management skills
  • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
