They work with some of the leading distributers and suppliers across the UK and Europe and their facility is purpose built and a true modern engineering showcase and the next generation of food production process.The RoleYou will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of mechanical and electrical systems, with a focus on heating, ventilation and air-conditioning. You will maintain optimal production conditions, understanding and developing a purpose designed HVAC system to integrate into the manufacturing environment.The Building Services Mechanical Design Engineer will apply key knowledge of HVAC principles, equipment and technologies to develop innovative solutions, specific to the unique needs of the product while creating detailed 3D models of mechanical systems and coordinating these with other systems while analysing air flow and performing trial work.The PersonYou will be an experienced HVAC systems specialist, who has a relevant degree in HVAC design or mechanical / electrical engineering, and ideally hold at least 5 years experience of mechanical design for facilities with a complex M&E design.You will have experience with RIBA stages 2-6 M&E drawings, schematics and detailed specification documentation of a complex factory construction.Proven hands on experience of HVAC software, such as AutoCAD, Revit or similar design tools, as well as understanding of regulations in relation to HVAC systems would be advantageous and would exposure to the design and coordination of large complex projects, with experience in data centre / temperature and humidity dependant HVAC design.How to ApplyTo apply in confidence and to initiate an informal discussion, please submit a fully CV online detailing your current remuneration package and availability quoting job reference 373433.
