Model Oversight Analyst

West Midlands (1 day a week in office)

An exciting challenger bank are bringing in a new Model Oversight Analyst to expand their model governance team, to ensure the bank are compliant with recent regulations. The bank offer a wide range of products and are well established in the industry.

The Role

  • Owning the model governance and reviews across the bank
  • Taking part of the model review group, reviewing model management and governance frameworks
  • Running IRB self-assessments, ensuring the models are in line with regulations
  • Future projects include working on a range of different models, including scorecards, financial models, etc

Your Skills and Experience

  • IRB regulation knowledge is desirable
  • Experience working with models, doing oversight, framework, or governance work
  • Proficiency in Excel, specifically VBA, is required
  • Experience working with IFRS9 or IRB regulatory models
