As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious UK Sustainability Director to join their business.* Develop and lead sustainability strategies across a diverse range of food products, focusing on customer-centric solutions and global supply chain levers.* Effectively interact with and influence customers, suppliers, NGOs, academia, trade associations, and other agricultural-related industries to drive sustainability initiatives.* Maintain an inventory of current and potential customer ESG/Sustainability targets, advising on strategies to support customer commitments.* Build and maintain networks within the agriculture community to develop projects aimed at sustainability interventions in our supply chain.* Establish methods and mechanisms to deliver outcome-based solutions for customers, particularly related to scope 3 climate commitments.* Lead sustainability data management and reporting for the UK, collaborating with our global team to ensure consistency and accuracy.* Prepare budgets, schedules, and organisational reports related to sustainability projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution.* Coach and mentor sustainability staff to continuously evolve their capabilities, capacity, and skill sets needed to achieve sustainability outcomes.* Develop and deliver comprehensive sustainability reports that highlight the progress and achievements to internal and external stakeholders.* Drive innovation in sustainability practices, staying ahead of industry trends and integrating new methodologies into the strategies.* Ensure all sustainability initiatives comply with relevant regulations and industry standards, maintaining our commitment to ethical practices.* Provide expert advice and support to customers, helping them achieve their sustainability goals through tailored solutions and collaborative efforts.Required experience: * Proven track record in a similar role * Agriculture experience * Ability to lead global sustainability strategiesIf you believe you have the skills and personality to fit these requirements please either apply via this advert or call Henderson Brown on for more information.
