Job Title: Estates Contract & PFI Projects ManagerLocation: West Midlands Salary: £47- £54k

Role Purpose:
To support the Senior Estates Manager in delivering a comprehensive Estates Service, overseeing and managing service contracts (PFI and others). Monitor budgets, forecast expenditure, and ensure financial control. Ensure compliance with statutory and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract & Project Management:
- Develop and manage contract monitoring systems
- Ensure contract compliance, resolve disputes, and manage service provider relationships
- Prepare performance reports and oversee internal/external audits
- Lead project teams and deliver capital projects to budget and timescales
Estates Management:
- Ensure statutory compliance across estate services
- Conduct property inspections and manage maintenance
- Coordinate with service users to ensure estate services meet operational needs
Financial Oversight:
- Manage budgets and oversee financial reporting for contract
- Handle contract variations, cost assessments, and financial reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate financial forecasting and expenditure tracking
Leadership & Compliance:
- Line manage Estates Contract Officer and oversee contract-related operations
- Ensure health & safety, data protection, and safeguarding compliance
- Provide estates and contract management expertise to stakeholders
Candidates must have:
- Experience in estates, facilities, or contract management (preferably in the public sector)
- Strong knowledge of compliance, financial controls, and project management
- Proven ability to manage contracts, budgets, and multi-disciplinary teams
