Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 7 Community Paediatric Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role involves delivering specialized nursing care to children and young people in community settings, ensuring their holistic health needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical care and support for children with complex health needs in their homes or community settings.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with families and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Act as a clinical leader and mentor, supporting junior staff and promoting best practices in paediatric care.
  • Liaise with schools, social services, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for patients.
  • Conduct health assessments, monitor progress, and adjust care plans as needed.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and relevant paediatric qualification.
  • Proven community nursing experience, preferably at Band 6 or above.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a complex caseload.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for community visits.
