A leading infrastructure business in the West Midlands is seeking a Buyer to join them focusing on the procurement of sub contracting works. The role is to start in April and is a fixed term contract for ten months.

My client is a leading infrastructure business based in the West Midlands.
Description
- Manage the procurement of subcontracting services
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with other departments on procurement matters
- Negotiate contracts
- Track and report on subcontractor performance
- Identify opportunities for cost savings
- Maintain procurement records and documentation.
Profile
- Previous procurement experience at Buyer level within the private sector
- Strong negotiation skills
- Knowledge of procurement policies and procedures
- Able to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- Eagar to learn and develop
- Comfortable being in the office 3 days per week (able to work from home Monday & Fridays)
Job Offer
- Salary paying up to £42,000 per annum depending on experience
- A 10-month fixed term contract with a start date in April
