Your new companyYou will be working for a public sector organisation in the West Midlands as a Senior Procurement Manager on a permanent basis. Your new roleAs a Senior Procurement Manager, you will be leading and advising on strategic procurement matters, ensuring adherence to Procurement Legislation and compliance. You will be managing complex negotiations with various suppliers, whilst delivering and reporting on cost saving plans. This role reports to the Deputy Director of Procurement, and has three direct reports. The role covers all areas of procurement, including corporate services, capital projects and direct operational costs. The role is 37.5 hours per week, and offers hybrid working (2 days on site).What you'll need to succeedYou should have previous public sector procurement experience at managerial level, and be a comfortable leader. You should have a good understanding of strategic sourcing, and have previously led on complex procurements and have worked with multiple stakeholders. Ideally, you will be MCIPS qualified, however, significant experience within the sector will also be considered.What you'll get in returnYou will receive a salary of between £50000 - £60000 dependent on experience, and a great pension and benefits package.
