We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facility Supervisor for a growing business based in Bridgwater. The Facilities Supervisor will manage the soft facilities services across the company’s sites, including cleaning, caretaking, grounds maintenance, and customer services. This role also oversees contractor management, site support, and health and safety compliance for people-based training.
Duties
- Oversee cleaning and caretaking services, evaluate in-house and external contractor performance, and maintain high standards across sites.
- Control budgets and identify savings in collaboration with Finance.
- Supervise grounds maintenance and pest control, ensuring a safe and compliant environment.
- Conduct health and safety training, implement RIDDOR and COSHH reporting, and maintain a safe workplace.
- Monitor contractor work for compliance and issue necessary permits.
- Plan and execute new site projects, manage incentives, and monitor KPIs with internal stakeholders.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in facilities management with a focus on soft services.
- Experience in CAFM implementation and use in continuous improvement.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance specific to soft services.
- Strong organisational, communication, and contract management skills.
This is an office based role, paying £32,000 - £38,000 plus standard company benefits.
