Are you an experienced leader within finance?Change Recruitment are currently on the lookout for an Accounts Payable Manager to support a client on an initial temporary basis of circa 3-4 months. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for a team of 4 Accounts Payable Assistants ensuring that the department is running smoothly.This is a hands on role, and as such you will also be responsible for purchase ledger administration and any team escalations for a busy ledger.Duties include:
- Purchase Ledger administration and processing
- Supplier query escalation
- Weekly supplier BACS payment run
- Ad-hoc and international payment runs
- Oversee and lead all teams activities, providing support and guidance as required
- Provide various reports to the Finance Manager to highlight KPI’s
- Supporting the Finance Manager with various projects

The ideal candidate will hold experience leading a small finance team, ideally in a larger high transaction organisation. You will have good people management skills, and be confident communicating across the business and with a wide variety of suppliers to ensure a smooth running of the Accounts Payable function.This role offers a competitive salary of circa £38k as well as hybrid working of 4 days at home and one day in the Bridgwater office.
