As a "Hands-On" SHEQ Advisor from the construction or civil engineering sector, you will be passionate about all aspects of health and safety, along with a practical approach.

If you have a proven track record as a SHEQ Advisor and are local to the Somerset area, this is the opportunity for you.

YOUR NEW ROLE

Plan inspections focusing on SHEQ compliance
Working with project teams to deliver the highest HSE standards on all projects
Managing contractors
Making sure safe maintenance and risk management of all plant and materials on all projects worked
Delivering bespoke/accredited training programmes and producing educational material
Equipment inspections
Leading incident investigations
Potential for shift work

REQUIRED SKILLS

Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
NEBOSH Construction Certificate
CSCS Card
Knowledge and experience of groundwork and reinforced concrete frameworks
Previous experience working HP
Experienced in Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis
Competent user of Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
IEMA Certification (Advantageous)
Temporary Works Coordinator (Advantageous)
Experience in lifting equipment (Advantageous)

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Basic salary £50,000 - £60,000 (depending upon experience)
31 days annual leave (inc BH)
Death In Service (4X salary)
5% Company Pension / 4% Employee
