Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & Verify Designs: Create temporary works designs that comply with BS 5975: 2019 and exceed safety and quality benchmarks.
  • Structural Analysis: Conduct detailed stress calculations and load assessments to ensure the structural integrity of all temporary works.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to CDM Regulations 2015 and industry standards, keeping safety at the forefront.
  • Collaborate Closely: Partner with project teams to develop design briefs and confirm design competence.


Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Extensive experience in temporary works design, ideally on large-scale engineering projects.
  • Expertise: Strong proficiency with design software like AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, and Tekla.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, plus Chartered (CEng) or Incorporated (IEng) Engineer status.

Desirable: Familiarity with the Hinkley Point C site and Confined Spaces certification.
