The role: Human Resources Officer

  • Join as a hands-on HR Officer, supporting both the Oldford factory and London Head Office with a wide range of HR activities.
  • Be the first point of contact for employees, managers, and external partners while managing key responsibilities like monthly pension uploads, absence and performance meetings, and recruitment support.
  • Take ownership of critical areas such as labour cost management, policy development, and providing HR support for audits, all while contributing to business growth and team engagement.
  • Collaborate with line managers on training, social activities, and day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where you can make a real impact.

Ideal candidate:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar HR role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Excellent administration, organisational, and time management skills, with proven ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and adaptable to new systems.
  • Experience working in a unionised environment is advantageous.
  • Flexible, discreet, and able to handle confidential issues with professionalism.
