Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with automated testing tools, ideally Playwright; alternatively, Selenium, Cypress, or Cucumber.
- Thorough knowledge of test automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with React, C#, .Net 8, Visual Studio Professional, JetBrains Rider, Next JS, Chakra UI, Postgres, OpenAPI, Docker, Bicep, and Terraform.
- Knowledge of data platforms, notably Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI.
- Â expertise in AWS & Azure services for application development, deployment, and management.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Adherence to coding standards, best practices, and documentation in software development.
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to quality assurance.
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will lead the development and execution of our quality strategy, ensuring the delivery of trusted products through robust testing frameworks and automation tools. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in hands-on testing and a visionary approach to product quality and technological advancements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, driving quality assurance initiatives and automation strategies in alignment with agile principles using Scrum methodology.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Take ownership of the quality strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and the technology landscape.
- Design and develop robust automated test scripts, ensuring comprehensive coverage and integration into our CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain best practices for test automation.
- Shape test approaches to align with project goals and product vision.
- Execute automated test suites with precision, analyse results, and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage defect tracking and reporting, streamlining the issue resolution process.
- Generate insightful test reports to provide valuable feedback to stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with product, data, and engineering teams to promote a culture of quality excellence.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and testing strategies effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
