- This is a key role ensuing the safety and compliance of a portfolio of social housing properties
- You will be leading on the effective management of statutory, regulatory and legislative responsibilities for ‘The Big 6’ of compliance areas including: fire, asbestos, legionella, lifts, electric, gas and other compliance services
- In this role, you will be overseeing a team of building safety & compliance officers, supporting in performance management, personal development and recruitment for the teams
- Develop, implement and monitor compliance programmes, ensuring all legislative and regulatory requirements are met
- Ensure that compliance surveys/inspections are undertaken as required that actions are completed within timescales
- Monitor/manage fire safety compliance across the property stock portfolio, including planning for and implementing recommendations from FRAs
- Manage stakeholders and build on working relationships
- Take the lead on internal and external audits
- 30 days annual leave + bank holidays
- 37 hours per week Mon – Fri

- Hold or willing to work towards a recognised fire safety qualification & P405 certificate if required
- Experience of working in Social Housing
- Detailed knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and the Building Safety Act
- Full Driving Licence
