Area Integration Engineer - HPC Delivery Integration Team

Job Overview
Join the dynamic Delivery Integration Team and be a key player in ensuring the credibility and feasibility of planned work schedules 16 weeks before implementation. As an Area Integration Engineer, your role revolves around reviewing, developing, and coordinating construction sequences for structures, systems, and components within assigned areas, ensuring alignment with schedule milestones and resource availability.

Key Responsibilities
* Reviewing and refining construction schedules to align with related structures and constraints.
* Assessing material and equipment availability for project readiness.
* Contributing to hotspot resolution to maintain schedule milestones.
* Overseeing the application of "Delivery Work Pack" & "Interface Data Sheet" procedures.
* Collaborating with various on-site functions, such as Engineering, Planning, Procurement, and Site Operations.

Role Requirements
* Interaction with 3D/4D tools like Navisworks and/or Synchro.
* Proficiency in managing P6 schedules and data manipulation using Excel and Microsoft Office.
* Report generation via databases or PowerBI.
* Reporting to the Area Integration Manager.

Working Environment & Location
* Hinkley Point C, Somerset - primary office.
* Satellite Delivery Centre (SDC), Bridgwater, and Aztec West as required.
* Safety Culture Advocate ensuring safety in all project activities.

Principal Accountabilities
* Prioritizing Health, Safety, and Environment.
* Coordination and cooperation of construction activities.
* Compliance with specifications, codes, and industry practices.

Skills & Qualifications
Essential:
* Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent experience (10+ years).
* 5 years' experience in delivering complex projects.
* Proficiency in planning tools (P6), Navisworks, Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Desirable:
* Construction health and safety qualification (e.g., IOSHH Managing Safely).
* Nuclear construction background.
* Experience in regulated, high-security environments.
* Knowledge of French would be advantageous.
