Our client is a well respected company in the land surveying sector and has a strong forward order book of work in the somerset area. They are looking to add to their existing team and are comfortable with either a graduate looking for their first role in industry or someone who's maybe already gained some experience elsewhere.


They are also able to offer exposure to a range of projects in the build and infrastructure sectors, from the smallest to the largest schemes and also encourage their employees to continue their professional development. Which they do by supporting individuals in working towards gaining CICES and other qualifications.

Your duties would include -

  • Assisting the Senior surveyor in establishing and setting up of both primary and secondary control
  • Assisting the senior surveyor with Dimensional control
  • Assisting the senior surveyor with setting out of construction works
  • Maintaining and carrying equipment
  • Assisting with downloading of data and production of Asbuilts


Requirements for this position -

  • A land surveying / civil engineering or Geomatics qualification or equivalent is preferable, but a relevant construction qualification is acceptable also.
  • CSCS card (ideal but not essential)
