Well-established and respected Tech company with large scale Projects for major clients. Specialist clean room manufacturers to various sectors including: Pharma, Medical, F1, Automotive, Nuclear, Government & High level R&D. Requires forward thinking Procurement / Purchasing / Buyer/ Commercial experience ideally in manufacturing/ construction / fabrication.

THE COMPANY: Leading brand for specialist equipment design and build of equipment required for household names. Our client has expanded and now requires a dedicated Buyer / Purchasing Manager. We are currently fulfilling the role on behalf of the client. To succeed in this career, the skills you need include networking, negotiation, and analytical skills.

responsible for the strategic sourcing and procurement of goods and services to support the day-to-day operations of the business. Your focus will be on optimising procurement processes, building strong supplier relationships, and driving cost savings across all areas of the business.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Full Responsibility for purchasing all materials and parts for all departments.
  • Ensure all products are procured at great prices and delivered on time and to standard.
  • Developing and executing purchasing strategies.
  • Tracking metrics to reduce expenses.
  • Negotiating deals and managing vendors.
  • Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
  • Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
  • Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.

Essential skills and experience

  • Experience in Procurement / Purchasing / Buyer
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills:
  • Proven ability to build deep and long term supplier relationships.
  • conducting negotiations with suppliers to determine contract terms and product price
  • Analytical Skill: research profitable purchasing deals and suppliers offering such deals
  • Budgeting and cost management skills to achieve cost-effective procurement outcomes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced ISO environment

Advantage:

  • Manufacturing or construction or fabrication industry experience
  • Knowledge project management and supply chain systems
  • Databases: Sage, Excel, data analytics.
