Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Packhouse Line Manager to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with expertise in operating Proseal heat sealers and Macro scales to lead our packhouse operations and ensure an efficient workflow while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily packhouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
- Manage a team of packhouse workers, providing guidance and support to achieve targets.
- Operate and maintain Proseal heat sealers and Macro scales, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
- Conduct quality control checks on packaged products to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
- Train team members on effective use of equipment and safe handling practices.
- Coordinate with inventory management to ensure materials are available for packing and production.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Proven experience in a packhouse or similar environment, ideally in a supervisory role.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Proseal heat sealers and Macro scales.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying workloads and schedules as needed.
- Starting pay of £11.44 per hour with room for growth.
