Multi-skilled Maintenance engineer in Bridgwater

A Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer is required to undertake pre planned and reactive maintenance on state of the art production machinery within the facility.

Full training and development in company and manufacturing systems with excellent starting salary.

Salary & Location: £52k - £54k +excellent benefits

The successful Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer will receive support and development which will provide you with an excellent opportunity to further yourself and progress your career within a continually expanding business.

The Role: Within the remit of the role you will be undertakin mechanical and electrical maintenance on a range of machinery on site. The role is split between planned and reactive maintenance within the facility, and all engineers will be actively involved in helping set up PPM's weekly and installation work on a project basis.

Most of the role will revolve around work on mechanical equipment whilst also repairing 3 phase motors, circuits and being able to read wiring schematics and diagrams.

Requirements:

  • Multi-skilled maintenance (ideally electrical biased) Mech or Elec biased but must be compotent in both
  • An electrical qualification
  • PLC ff ideal, not essential as long as have understanding of PLCs and their function
  • Experience working within manufacturing or similar (FMCG)
  • Happy working a shift pattern
  • Mechanical or Electrical apprenticeship and qualifications (essential)
