Abatec is assisting their client to recruit for a freelance Project Manager (PM). Our client, a leading and award-winning civil engineering contractor is delivering major works on Hinkley Point C, in Bridgwater.

The multi-million-pound project requires a PM with experience in a similar position having a good understanding of NEC form of contracts, and experience working on tunnel projects, Spray Concrete Lining (SCL), and Reinforced Concrete (RC) structures.

As ProjectManageryou will:

Assist the team in developing construction methodology, SSHEQ procedures, RAMS and ITPs
Assist the commercial team in developing forecast budgets and manage actual cost
Determine the most appropriate means of satisfying customer/project requirements, objectives, constraints; time, cost, quality, scope, risk, and benefits.
Prepare both internal and external reports to liaise with stakeholders
Ensure compliance with company regulations and relevant legislation.

Our client requires a Project Manager with:

Degree or the equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering
Experience working on tunnel and RC projects
CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and Driving License
A professional qualification, or working towards one e.g. APM

Salary and benefits include:

600 - 700 Per Day PAYE Umbrella
