- Ensure the construction team is achieving best value to meet commercial targets.
- Ensure compliance with contractual processes and commercial governance.
- Support contract production and negotiations to secure the best terms.
- Prepare monthly site valuation and work progress reports.
- Assist in evaluating and preparing project payment applications.
- Verify sub-contractor monthly claims and be responsible for site measurement.
- Ensure all pricing documents, bills of quantities (BQ), contract documents, and quotations are in order.
- Responsible for the costing and preparation of pricing documents for submission.
- Monitor and control project budgets and cash flow, ensuring accurate forecasting to meet business expectations.
- Coordinate with contractors and site personnel to support reporting to the Senior Team.
- Support head office in managing compliant material purchasing.
- Liaise with site teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Commercial focus and strong commercial acumen.
- FIDIC and NEC contract experience.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
- Chartered or working towards Chartered status.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quantity Surveyor role on large projects.
