JOB – Control Systems Engineer LOCATION – Somerset TERM - Permanent SALARY – £45,000- £65,000 per annum. A Somerset based engineering company are looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.  The Control Systems Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: 
  • BEng or equivalent controls or electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
  • 3 years’ controls& automation experience – from design through to commissioning.
  • Strong PLC & HMI programming skills.
  • Strong software knowledge – ideally Siemens or Mitsubishi.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
The Control Systems Engineer’s duties will involve:
  • The design of contro systems & panels.
  • Creating & developing electrical drawings & schematics.
  • Involvement with final stage commissioning.
  • Providing support to other engineers when required.
  • Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
  • Liaising with other engineers & departments to ensure requirements are being met at all times.
