The salary for this role ranges from £45,000 to £65,000 per annum.
Candidates should have a BEng or equivalent qualification in controls or electrical engineering and at least 3 years of experience in controls and automation.
Strong PLC and HMI programming skills, along with knowledge of Siemens or Mitsubishi software, are essential.
The role involves designing control systems, creating electrical drawings, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

JOB – Control Systems Engineer LOCATION – Somerset TERM - Permanent SALARY – £45,000- £65,000 per annum. A Somerset based engineering company are looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The Control Systems Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

BEng or equivalent controls or electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
3 years’ controls& automation experience – from design through to commissioning.
Strong PLC & HMI programming skills.
Strong software knowledge – ideally Siemens or Mitsubishi.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication skills.

The Control Systems Engineer’s duties will involve:

The design of contro systems & panels.
Creating & developing electrical drawings & schematics.
Involvement with final stage commissioning.
Providing support to other engineers when required.
Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
Liaising with other engineers & departments to ensure requirements are being met at all times.
