About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Band 6 Audiologist to join our team within an NHS Trust on a locum basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a difference in patient care while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct hearing aid issue reviews, ensuring patients receive optimal care and support.
* Handle direct referrals, providing comprehensive audiological assessments and follow-ups.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in line with NHS protocols.
* Provide expert advice and support to patients, tailoring solutions to individual needs.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 1-year post-qualification experience as an Audiologist.
* Proven experience in hearing aid issue reviews and handling direct referrals.
* HCPC registration (or equivalent).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Commitment to delivering patient-centred care.
