- Leading their design and technical team.
- Conducting the design, analysis, and implementation of solar products.
- Managing a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers.
- Conduct site assessments and surveys to evaluate soil conditions, topography, and other factors affecting structural design and installation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, architects, and construction professionals to develop comprehensive solar installation plans.
- Generate detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for structural components and foundations.
- Perform structural analysis using a variety of software tools to assess load capacities, stress levels, and overall performance of solar structures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams during the construction phase, addressing any structural challenges or issues that may arise.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the industry
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Be an experienced structural engineer and ideally have some leadership or managerial experience
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as Dlubal RFEM 6, RWIND, Tekla Tedds or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards related to structural design and construction.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast- paced environment.
