Job Title: Estimating Engineer
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Estimating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in quoting machined components across various manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on Milling, Turning, and Sliding Head Lathes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for machined components, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
- Read and interpret customer technical drawings and models, including compliance with national, international, and customer-specific standards.
- Understand a broad range of treatment processes and secure external pricing from suppliers for all subcontracted processes.
- Assess the commercial viability of costed jobs, ensuring sustainable margins while remaining competitive.
