Great opportunity for a versatile Accountant who is looking for a highly-varied, challenging role within a well-established business based in the Black Country.
This role is targeted at a newly or almost qualified individual, likely to be looking for a step upwards from their current position, who seeks both the statutory reporting and analytical elements of financial management.
The organisation boasts a diverse portfolio across a £50m turnover group, and operates from fantastic offices close to public transport links, with free onsite parking and electric car charging points.
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, you'll get involved right across the finance function, with responsibilities including:
- Preparation of the management accounts packs for the Group
- All key month end procedures including accruals, prepayments, reconciliations & journals
- Monitoring & overseeing transactional activity and producing cash flow reports
- Fixed asset registers and depreciation
- Budgeting & forecasting
- Statutory returns and producing the files for audit
- VAT returns and payroll reports for HMRC
This role will also take on new elements of financial planning & analysis, forming a link to other areas of the business.
