Modern Edge Recruitment are currently looking for Maintanance Engineer
- Ensure that all plant equipment and machinery is kept in good working order.
- Carry out all planned preventative maintenance as requested.
- Prioritise and carry out emergency breakdown maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
- To carry out TPM requirements as necessary.
- Complete all relevant paperwork associated with the task you are performing in a timely and accurate manner.
- Report any problems regarding equipment and machinery immediately to the Maintenance Manager or the designated deputy.
- Ensure that you are aware of all legal and Company standards and procedures with regards to Health & Safety and that you adhere to them at all times.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that promotes cooperation with colleagues.
- Actively take part in any training requested to enhance your role.
- Be prepared to work overtime as and when required.
- To carry out the required maintenance activities during the company shutdown periods.
Qualifications:
- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship.
- City and Guilds or equivalent.
- Worked in a CNC machine environment or similar.
- Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics and electrical fault finding.
- Experience in welding and general fabrication work.
- Experience in sand conveyors, shot blasts, fettling equipment desirable but not essential.
- Ability to read and work closely with drawings
