A globally leading chemical manufacturing company located in Lincolnshire is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team, offering a salary of up to £65,000 per annum. The comprehensive benefits package includes a double-figure pension, annual bonus, hybrid working options, private medical insurance, and 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.

As a Process Engineer you will leverage your expertise to contribute to capital improvement projects throughout their lifecycle, from conception to commissioning. Your extensive knowledge and experience will be crucial in leading improvements and aiding in the development of the site's five-year plan.

Process Engineer Responsibilities

  • Offer engineering expertise and guidance throughout all stages of the site capital program, from inception to completion.
  • Generate design deliverables for capital project design basis, HAZOP, LOPA, and datasheets.
  • Assist the operations teams in ensuring the ongoing safe operation of the production plant.
  • Identify prospective improvement projects in line with the company's Safe, Quality, Low Cost, Sustainable Tonnes (SQLCST) strategy.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of safety issues, equipment, and industry-wide standards.
  • Collaborate with operators and the operations day team to commission and implement projects.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to junior members of the department while peer reviewing and approving their work output.

For consideration in this role, candidates should hold a degree, ideally be chartered, possess a minimum of 6 years' process engineering experience, and demonstrate expertise in both batch and continuous improvements, preferably in Upper Tier COMAH sites, showcasing proven knowledge of process design, calculations, specifications, and commissioning.
