- Engage in site development, refurbishment, and problem-solving as part of the Scunthorpe Cluster Management Team.
- Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company standards.
- Implement and manage Safe Systems of Work, including Permit to Work systems and Contractor Controls.
- Participate in HAZOP, LOPA, and HRA activities to identify and mitigate major accident hazards.
- Manage process risk registers and ensure timely communication and implementation of controls.
- Support internal and external audits and manage corrective actions from these audits.
- Oversee the Interlex incident investigation system and manage the EMOC register.
- Facilitate maintenance planning meetings and ensure timely execution of maintenance work.
- Support the development and use of the SAP preventative and defect maintenance system.
- Identify CAPEX investments and prepare business cases based on plant condition assessments.
- Undertake site improvement projects to enhance reliability and operational resilience.
- Act as an intelligent customer for selected projects and support commissioning and acceptance of significant projects.
- Identify and sustain efficiency improvements in both fixed and variable costs.
- Track productivity improvements using required tools.
