Job title: Industrial Marketing Manager Role Overview:
- Be the industry expert and take ownership for marketing the Industrial sector: demonstrate a best in class understanding of the Industrial product portfolio, route to market, customers and competitors.
- Maintain and develop brand positioning, differentiation strategy and value proposition across the Industrial markets.
- Maximise profitability of the Industrial product portfolio; assist Head of Industrial Products & Markets to build and implement strategy for growth in line with wider company strategy and objectives.
Duties:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs within the industrial sector.
- Analyse competitor strategies and market positioning to identify gaps and potential growth areas. Brand Management & Positioning:
- Drive brand awareness and positioning for the company's Industrial product portfolio.
- Develop compelling product messaging and value propositions that resonate with industrial clients.
- Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, datasheets, case studies, and presentations.
- Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital platforms (website, email, social media, etc.) and traditional channels (trade shows, print ads, direct mail).
- Leverage SEO, SEM, and content marketing strategies to increase online visibility and lead generation. Customer Engagement & Relationship Building:
- Foster strong relationships with key industrial customers, distributors, and stakeholders.
- Work with the Sales team to develop lead generation campaigns and support business development efforts.
- Manage customer feedback and insights to continuously improve marketing tactics and product offerings.
- Oversee events, sponsorship and relationships with brand ambassadors; attend events where required. Product Launch & Promotion
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, ideally from an industrial, manufacturing or engineering background.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful B2B marketing strategies, with experience in the lubricants industry highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of industrial markets, sales cycles, and customer needs within the lubricants sector.
- Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing)
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing performance tracking and reporting.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Project management skills with an ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
