Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

With continued growth, an opportunity arises for a Production Supervisor to join the team, responsible for managing production activities, developing and motivating staff, and taking an active role in continuous improvement projects. This role would suit a Production Supervisor or similar with a background in manufacturing, looking for a varied role within a leading manufacturer with great development opportunities. The Role:
- Line manage a production team for the efficient and safe manufacture of oil and gas products, including the organisation and motivation of your team, allocating training where necessary
- Complete back office administration, such as return to work
- Ensure a high level of quality throughout the production process
- Support continuous improvement
- Ensure prompt reporting and investigation of all accidents, near misses and breaches of rules
The Person:
- Experience managing a Production line or similar
- Ability to use a conventional lathe and mill
