Day-to-Day of the Teacher Role:- Develop and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of students with SEMH.
- Create a supportive and understanding classroom environment that encourages students to achieve their personal best.
- Collaborate with other professionals within the school to plan and coordinate support across various aspects of the students’ education.
- Implement behaviour management strategies effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Assess and record students’ progress, adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs and abilities.
- Proven experience as a Teacher, particularly in an SEMH setting or similar role within special educational needs.
- A strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEMH and a dedicated approach to overcoming these.
- Must possess a current DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
